The father of my children and I are finally going to "tie the knot". We were planning a wedding when we discovered a few months down the line we were pregnant. At that point, the wedding was put on hold and the baby planning began. Now another child later, we would like to be legally wed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to include our children in the vows or ceremony other than of course having them in the wedding? I’ve heard of the family medallion, but I understand that to be for blended families which ours obviously is not. . Any other suggestions out there that would recognize our children as we say our vows?
I’m planning a wedding for either Riverside, Orange, or LA county and can’t seem to find a nice, yet reasonably priced place. I’ve checked out sites like theknot.com, but those places are kinda pricey. Do any of you know of a place that isn’t too well know (yet nice) or that doesn’t cost a fortune? Anything you could offer at this point would be better than what I’ve found.
I’m planning a wedding for August. The ceremony is at 4:30, cocktail hour at 5 and reception at 6. We’re debating whether guests really care about hors d’ouevres and if so whether the kind of hors d’ouevres matters.
My fiancee and I are tired of all the drama and stress that come with planning a wedding. He says it’s up to me and he doesn’t care how we get married, just as long as we do. A part of me wants a real wedding, including the dress, cake and dancing, but another part just wants to go to the courthouse and get it done. I keep changing my mind on him and he’s getting a little frustrated with me. What should I do?
I am planning a wedding and would really like to have a balanced and harmonious feeling during the ceremony and dinner/reception. While my future husband does not like asian inspired designs he does like the idea of including the 5 elements into our celebration: Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, & Metal.
We are having an outside ceremony and dinner in France. We are definitely struggling with how to incorporate these elements without having an eastern-themed wedding.
Any ideas would be GREAT!
Thanks so much!
So I am planning a wedding and was wondering if anyone has any tips on decorating a gazebo….also the place where we are paying to have the wedding is it common to have the officiant included or get one on your own?
Another thing is that we decided not to have bridesmaids and groomsmen bc it is a small simple wedding and we both don’t have alot of family and our families are from different states so we are sure not all will be able to make it…..so we are having our one son to be ring bearer and our neice to be flower girl but any suggestions on intro ( my dad is dead so I have no one to walk me down the aisle)
Which reminds me….how long before the wedding should you send invites so you know who actually will show up???? And not overspend on guests who won’t be there
I’m not planning on getting married on anytime soon-im a sophomore in highschool-but i’ve just been very curious about what major things to pay attention to when planning a wedding ceremony, how to plan one… any resurces that may have helped.
Thanks!
