L1 Compact – Outdoor Wedding Ceremony – Otesaga Resort Hotel, Cooperstown, NY
There have been many questions asked trying to quantify the audio coverage capabilities for various mobile DJ services using the Bose L1 Compact system . This video was shot July 5, 2009 at an outdoor ceremony, the camera position being well over 100 yards away from the L1 Compact unit. The L1 Compact was operating at about 15%-20% of volume level capacity for this particular segment of pre-ceremony gathering music. Will it provide wide area crystal clear sound coverage? I say unequivocally, “Absolutely, without breaking a sweat.” However, you must be the judge based on your needs and applications.

Hi,
Can you tell me what the rms watts are of the compact.
I believe the L1 m2 is 500 watts!
Nice demo Cap!
As a drummer, I thought I had little use for a Compact, but as an L1 lover, I had to buy one anyone. I use it everyday in one way or another.
An excellent sound system regardless of wattage.
Thanks for posting this. I’ve had my eye on this, and have often wondered if the claims are just too good to be true, but it appears they aren’t!
Thanks Cap! I just purchased a pair of l1 compacts, and you are the reason I made my buy. Just an amazing system.
Thanks for your comments everyone. When you’re ready to make your L1 (Model 1, 2, and/or Compact) system purchase, please give me an email or call. As an authorized Bose L1 dealer, systems are shipped the same day after your PayPal payment is made, F-R-E-E delivery, and no sales tax charged outside of New York State.
How do you get the stero effect out of that one pole?
@fusifaro It’s mono. Line array technology gives the sound a broaden, richer presence.
